Today I was explaining to someone how to align a disk using diskpar for Exchange
2003 and thought some documentation would be nice for this person to reference. Fellow
MVP Daniel Petri has a nice write up about this process with pictures!

One question I get asked alot is how to export the membership of a distribution
group in Exchange 2000/2003. The easiest way I know is to use 'ldifde' against
Active Directory to export that information into a text file. So I wrote up a KB
article describing the process:

Microsoft just posted a great doc on -1018 errors with some extraordinary detail
on why they happen and what changes were made in Exchange 2003 sp1 to correct

Good stuff!

Over at www.bink.nu, he posted about some of the changes coming in Exchange 2003 sp2:

IMF (now called junk mail filter) included by default
Sender-ID Support
Anti-phishing support (non-configurable)

With these changes and the windows mobile changes talked about earlier, this should be
a feature packed service pack.

A couple different sites have posted about a new powertoy released for windows
mobile called 'Global Contact Access' that allows you to do GAL lookups from any
pocket pc or smartphone 2003 device. I haven't seen any documentation yet but
the download is here:

Exchange 2003 FE server is required for this to work.

Head on over to www.bink.nu as he is blogging from Tech-Ed Europe. Seems MS is
talking more open about details in Exchange 12 than they did at the US Tech-Ed.

Highlights for E12:

Log shipping
Fully scriptable UI (based on Monad)
Public Folder support gone after E12
